PARA(SITE)DISE is an installation formed from hundreds of cyanotype prints of weeds pulled from the artist's garden. As this beautiful document of the invisible labor of maintenance grows, it overtakes and overshadows its surroundings.

NEVER THE SAME AGAIN is a sculpture series using IV tubing, wire, fabric, cotton, medical wrap, and a bent Slinky® — a metaphor for the injured body, which must continue on with its limited or new way of functioning, yet it retains its beauty, joy, and meaning.

30 DAYS is a set of mixed-media collages constructed using vintage Betty Crocker recipe cards, road maps, vellum, embroidery, ink, paint, cyanotype, prescription information sheets, medical detritus gauze, hospital bracelets and wire.

MEDICINE THRESHOLD is an interactive sculptural curtain made of prescription medicine bottles, shredded money, gold paint, metallic fibers, and vending machine balls, that invites the viewer to pass through the collaborative research and collective testing that makes medicines possible, feeling and sensing its cost and value.

SYMPTOMS/SIDE-EFFECTS is a spiraling paper loop of individual origami elements made from prescription sheets that meditates on the ongoing, everyday nature of managing chronic illness where symptoms in the body are caused by both illness and the medication itself; healing is incomplete, never-ending.
